According to the latest Air Travel Consumer Report, on a monthly basis, there are over 830 incidents of mishandled wheelchairs and mobility devices of passengers transported by airlines across the nation. That’s an average of 28 incidents in a given day.

Many airlines have unfortunately adopted very few policies for the carrying of wheelchairs and implementing essential ergonomic care for disabled travelers.
