The field of contemporary human factors and ergonomics is generally considered to have originated during World War II, optimizing the interface between the pilot and the aircraft. Even today, the aircraft cockpit remains the foundation in studies of ergonomics, more so than any other workstation. Prior to World War II, the focus strived to design the human to fit the machine via trial and error, instead of designing machines to fit the human. The quest for comfort and efficiency evolved, ranging from the adaptation of flight control panels for ease of access to the study of seating structures during long flights. The discipline of human factors and ergonomic design remains the cornerstone here at Alleviation Institute which was founded by a former Tactical Aircraft Aviation Operator and Airman, Alexander Reznikov. Here at A.I., we integrate the most elite principles of professional ergonomics and adapt solutions for the everyday individual, whether in search of comfort, musculoskeletal alignment, or optimization of the workspace. THE BEST MOMENTS COME WHEN WE TAKE OUR FREEDOM BACK.
